Our team

Maggie opened M. M. Leggett's Veterinary Surgery in 1988. She has over 30 years of experience as a Veterinary Surgeon and does farm, equine and small animal work within the practice.

Rebecca has been a qualified Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years and has now taken on the role of head nurse. She has been a part of M.M.Leggett's Veterinary Surgery for over 12 years.

Tania joined the team several years ago after being a friend of the practice for many years. She is a qualified veterinary nurse, however she also works as a park ranger at Beacon Hill country park so has great knowledge and experience with regard to large animals.

Beth joined the team in 2011 as a work experience student, and began her Veterinary Nurse training with us here a couple of years later. She completed her training and qualified in 2017. Beth enjoys the varied role of working within a mixed practice, having grown up with a farming background.

She has been working at M.M.Leggett's for over 10 years and is an invaluable member of the team. assisting with care of patients and reception duties. In her spare time she is a keen horsewoman.

Debbie joined the practice in December 2016 as our receptionist.

Cobweb belongs to head vet Maggie, and spends the majority of her time here with us at the practice. She is a lurcher and was born in May 2016. Cobweb is a cheeky puppy, and always keeps the nurses busy wanting playtime and cuddles! Here she is pictured with her favorite dinosaur toy.
